Hi all!
This is for the people who buy the new Greenlight 1:18 scale 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am Indy Pace Car diecast.
They are numbered on the bottom.
Owners of these cars (real cars, me included) are looking for the number on the bottom of the diecast, to match their 1:1 scale car.
So, if you can help in any way, please list your car number either here, or:
http://www.transammotorsports.com
Or, here:
http://www.turbotransam.com
There are links stating the car numbers.
I myself, am looking for car #231, which is my 1:1 scale car number.:)
If anyone can help, please do.
Owners are willing to buy off you, or trade for yours (if you have a number they need.

Thank you very much,

George

Hi George,

I know where 4 of the 1:18th scale cars are and I will have a look for you and the others. Love those 3.8L Turbo 6 motors.

Here are the numbers from the cars he had:

1302
1338
1310

I tried checking the link you provided but I'm not really interested in registering for another forum in which I won't be participating in. If any of these numbers match up with the real cars though, I can pick them up.

I have #418 and #453. I am keeping #418 but assure you nobody wants #453. It is so heavily full of poor craftsmanship and defects I'm sure it will be crushed. I am returning it to my distributor very soon. I can not understand how this one made it through Q/C. A few highlights of these defects: the nose looks like it hit a wall, the rear hatch is just over half way painted, the emblem on the nose is lifting (with paint attached), the driver's door in the front bottom appears to have been assembled while paint was still wet so the paint is very messed up, the passenger door appears to also have been touched too soon as it has a large area at the top that is ruined and three out of four wheels have bad chrome. I'm not ragging on Greenlight, just letting you know why this car is a defect. #418 is absolutely defect free though. I hope no one had their hopes up for either of these numbers.

Thanks guys!
I'll pass these numbers along to see if it helps anyone.
If anyone else gets any, please post the numbers on the bottom of the cars!

Thanks again,
