Hey Noleboy82,
At our last 1/4 scale race at LPR in Montgomery, Jim Dispenette of Tallahassee was telling me about a new drirt track in the Tallahassee area. According to Jim it's a dirt super speedway. Big track banked all the way around. We were talking about the possiability of race 1/4 scale drirt cars, he said that there was plenty of room. Ckeck it out.

Here's the scoop.

There is a hobby-shop track at the location noted. If you are getting started, it is a good place to run.

If you are a racer, there is a new DO in Boca Raton (South County Park - Palm Beach County) where the racing is fun and competitive. We run Saturday afternoons, every week. Both electric and gas classes. Most weeks you will find most of these classes running:
Electric:
1/18 sliders (pretty much stock with oil shocks)
1/10 sliders (open on mods, since there are reliability issues)
1/10 novice (almost anything electric)
1/10 brushless open wheel
1/10 EDM / buggy

Gas:
Novice nitro
Nitro 1/10 open wheel
Nitro 1/10 Late Model (Limited Late model)
Nitro 1/8 Late model
Nitro 1/8 open wheel
Nitro Truggy

No web-site yet, but you can get info on:
http://www.rctech.net/forum/florida-racing/247425-palm-beach-county-south-county-park.html

About a 200' run line, flat clay oval. Run buggy tires because the track is open to the public during the week, so smooth-blue-groove won't work for now.

There is AC power, and bathrooms a short walk away. Lots of friendly racers willing to help you, and then try to beat you.

If you are in the area, check it out. Great club-run track.

Well, I think Noleboy knows of new red, But I figure I would give them a shout out. Ocala, Florida. It is an indoor white clay oval. It is on the FDOS circuit. They are adding new clay before the 22nd of this month. That will be race 2 of the FDOS. We run 1/10 4wd latemodel, sprints, bombers, 2wd latemodel, stock truck, 19t trucks and novice. 1/18 scale sprint and LM sliders. 1/10 gas trucks, latemodel and gas sprints. 1/8 LM and monster trucks. We have people from all over comming. It is a nice setup and a fast track.:woohoo:
