Just curious in the first Black Bandit Release they were runs of 4,032. How many GMs would that be? 2% of 4,032 is 80.64. Is it rounded up, or down? Or is there 0.64 of a GM out there somewhere? :freak:

CTWLSMIKE 09-30-2008, 05:38 PM They made 82. 82? That's odd rounding from 80.64! :drunk: JasonZ 09-30-2008, 05:47 PM 4032's a odd number to make. astroking2 09-30-2008, 06:20 PM Yes, I was told 82 GMs were made on this series. NYSWLHUNTER 10-01-2008, 12:26 AM 82? That's odd rounding from 80.64! :drunk: they use the jellybellyomega€ therum to calculate the gm production. Basically they get jelly bellys and throw a handful on the floor and count them. The "2" mystery beans got stuck in the guys pocket and they felt bad so they added them to the run. The green paint is green apple, try it. Greenlight will confirm this. greelt-prod 10-01-2008, 09:51 AM Hello everyone, The numbers here are correct. We did make 4,032 pieces in the production run. Why the odd number? Well, we make even case quantities. This makes shipping, warehousing, etc. much easier. 4,032 is divisible by 12 and by 48. That way we don't have a partial case sitting around which no store or OLD would want. Regarding the GM's, yes we did 82. This was an effort to try to get almost every case of 48 a GM. Of course not every case will get them especially since some of these were packed in 12 piece masters. It is still 2% and change of the production run. But you get the idea. Just a little insight in case you were wondering. I did enjoy the jelly bean method though...but I wouldn't recommend eating any die-cast. Your dentist would be very angry at us for that! - Matt wlpaul 10-01-2008, 10:23 AM they use the jellybellyomega€ therum to calculate the gm production. I guess that makes the BB GM serial #80 I received the next to next to last one in the run. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
