Motor Max small aircraft come in large boxed sets. They continue the Zylmex Dyna-Flites series that originated in the 1970s. The range consists of toys made from castings that date mainly from that era, and into the mid 1980s.
Once in a while Motor Max will introduce a new casting. Here are two of them that I bought for the first time in 2004.
The first is a Messerschmitt Me-262. The plane is identified underneath as Schwalbe (swallow bird). It is a remarkable early jet fighter from back in the 40s when jets were rare.

The earlier version of the Me-262 casting has wheels that plug into the bottom of the plane and a clear plastic canopy. Probably the original casting has not been used since the mid-70s.
The second is a Lockheed U-2. This plane is small and does not have much detail. Its wings are very long, thin, and fragile. It is one of the few U-2 toys ever made. Even though I collect old toy planes I am unaware of any U-2 toy even from back when it was newsworthy.

Hope you like these little monsters.
