Would anyone be interested in a DVD of the October 18th race? I have been talking to a professional photogapher that is planning on shooting the last race. He will have two cameras rolling. DVD will be priced in the $5 -$10 range.

I think that would be cool! I might have another (wireless) camera that we can put somewhere as well!

The surface is a rather loamy mix; sand with some clay mixed in. It can rut up and get blown out, makes for some really off the hook racing (and saves!! LOL!).

The size is about 130' long by about 95' wide. It is basically a fast track, with minimal jumps - very similar to a European style layout. Not nearly as technical as MX, but a whole lot faster. Bowtie and/or Crime Fighter style tires work very well there.

Hey Buglite I grew up in Port Sheldon, funny to see a west olive racer on here. You'll like the track it is smaller than Raw Roots but a lot of the same concept allowing speed but you still need to learn how to make turns and bumps where you least expect them. LOL:thumbsup:

It's been awile (like 10 years) since I was at roots. That was Roy's track at his house right? Are any of the straights longer than mx's, trying to go from the pics to pick a gear combo. Don't know where you grew up in WO but I'm on the corner of 160th and Croswell next to the consumers field/dead end. Kinda nice my back yard is consumers wooded area with the ash ponds way back in there. I bought the buggy the winter that woor closed good thing more tracks popped up. see ya Sat.

The length of the front straight is about equal between MX131 and M-40. The same gearing (or a tooth extra) should work just fine.
