If you have one, what do think of it?

I have one, and i love it. It is efficient on batts. Light. Only three things i dont like about it. No backlight, no steering speed, and i cant set the button above steering wheel to be ch1 subtrim. Other than that, its awesome.

Yeah, but i didnt get to comment on that! Plus, isnt that what keeps these boards alive, someone asking the same questions. Also, if you took the time to post that, why cant you post your opinion?

Has anyone had any problems with a delay when you first hit the throttle I just got one for my son and it seems to have a 2 second delay before it goes? Also can someone post how they have the throttle travel and exp set for oval racing. I like the radio for the size and weight for my son just a little concerned with the delay and the throttle setting.

Thanks Eric Knapp

Eric I've not heard of any delay issues. Give me a call at work tomorrow and I will try and help you sort it out.

My throttle travel is set at 100%..

As for expo on this radio keep in mind it works opposite of most other surface radios. + #‘s will have a softer feel initially and then become more aggressive. - #‘s will do just the opposite.

Awesome radio. A beep/tone at the end of the timer would be icing on the cake!

I have had one for a few months now - no issues at all. It is light and comfortable. I have had no delay issues on mine - it may be your programming or ESC setup.

is there a way to slow down the steering speed

is there a way to slow down the steering speed

No. Make sure the "travel" is properly set and you'll be fine.

IMHO, slowing down the servo is a macro bandaid on a ill handling car (loose in?) ...

You can always use the "exp" to slow down the rate of the steering servo.

"0", I thought the higher the # the faster the response..........LRP wants it set to highest........

Well the dx3r is backwards from futaba radios. I always ran - on the 3pk, but on the dx3r i have to run in the + side.

I love both of mine:) A backlight would be a nice option although it won't be a problem once i go back to indoor racing.
