I`m back! So, glad to be back in the land of cheap slot cars, hamburgers, iced tea, and soft toilet paper!
Things I`ll miss about Brasil...
Sugar cane Coca Cola, the food, the scenery, sugar cane, the beaches, the mountains, grilled meats, and sugar cane.
Things I won`t miss....
Deisel exhaust, the expense of everything, no HO cars, kamakaze motorcyclist, and no iced tea.
Here in Texas, we drink ieced tea, and work on, paint, customize, and race TYCOS.

And junk that runs and you can find parts for!!! I saw alot of smoke there and realized it was a car in front of us. Cars here run much cleaner. :p

I got home and unpacked my slot cars first thing. I just sat in the garage and smelled of each one. They all have names now. The Tycos have all the good names. We got home Wensday morning and ran some errands, then crashed for the day. It was a good flight and we really didnt hit any turbulance until we got over the gulf of Mex., but we still didnt sleep good. We didnt have any Tylenol PM. Man, we took that stuff before the flight down there, and I woke up wondering where I was and whats my name! Anyways, I went back to work Thursday and Friday, it felt good to be back home. The big news was Friday night.
My friends and I hooked up with some other racers a few months back and we all race at each others tracks now. There`s 8 to 15 people each week, depending on schedules and locations. These are all very experienced racers and hobbyists. We race 2 or 3 races a night, and the competition is really intense. I won a race when we first got together, but have gone winless since. Third is about the best I've been able to run. We raced last night on their turf, and guess what, I won last night! These guys don't give charity either! We got there early enough to tune, which was a first. They wanted to race one of my old favorites, Tyco box stock nascar w/ push on silicons. I pulled out one of my old racers and beeped fastest lap on four of the six lanes during practice, and thought, "Could this be the night?". I took a 3 lap lead on the first heat and never looked back, so, the big question is.....

Working the football game at Hebron.. man those kids are dense..I really wish I had a Cattle Prod...I do not think I have a friday off this month.. ( I have one but I have the whole weekend and am gonna flee to the Alamo). I will make the next friday I am off I want os bad to get down there and unload all my extra tyco crap err stuff off on ya lolol....
