Well Everyone the season will be starting soon , open practice on Sept 27 , and racing will start on Oct 11 2008. We are open every Thursday nite at 6:30 till 10:00 pm , And on Saturdays the doors open at 1pm and racing starts at 6 PM with 3 heats and Main , All races are 5 minutes (unless otherwise noted) Every 2nd weekend of the month there will be 6 minutes Mains.

17.5 Brushless (novak motor only) and 27 turn brush motor(roar legal)
Commerial ESC Only
No wings Nascar style bodies

Spec Battery (1600 Trinity 4 cell)

what kind of brushless motor will be accepted in 1/12 scale? It is not clear.
Also, will there be a lipo class (the new single cell SMC) offered this year?

most likely will be just Novak motors in the 1/12 class too. (the only motors we have tech info about)

And not enough info yet about the Lipos to make a decision on them.

I have been waiting to see what is going to go down this year.

Good to see you're mixing 17.5 with brushed. It may allow some old faces to come back and mix it up a little.

I'll be busy with my new Losi Latemodel in Granby and moving into a new house in December. But I might try to borrow a ride for the Autumn Blast.

Nice crowd of people for practice today,Dave the Alien was fast so wasn't Tommy Gun and Dick Jarvis in the pro,in the new C.O.T class the rookie Greg Nephew was quick and Chad Blair looked good,Cory was getting the Massena express hooked up also,glad to see everyone there,with the way the economy is we are worried that RC racing my be hurting this season.hope to see everyone in 2 weeks for the opener

Great to be back at LakeCity R/C Speedway again for another season of the best short track racing in the Northeast. Thanks to Cory for getting the car ready for the new C.O.T. class. Also thanks to Cody and Dan for helping with testing the new car, their driving was very useful in setting it up. Can't wait for the opener in two weeks.

So it begins up in Gods country. I really enjoyed racing at this track last season. Team CRC has been testing all summer and look forword to joining the awsome caliber of racers this season. see ya all soon

So about the cars, truck is coming good, but the COT is in need of parts, just a few but are needed for completion.
longer rear body post to fit the cars high roof line, and a 96 tooth spur gear for running brushless 17.5, gearing for these motors is really high about 2.10 rollout or so
other than that i have them started and painting will start thursday night

Hey Ricky if you are running a 2.10 rollout that could explain why you were slow. :confused:

It is coming along its all mnt'd and trimmed hope to get it masked off and painted today after I get done work at 2. It has ben a ruff week my back is not playing nice at all and unloading 28 mod tires friday by hand did not help at all either. Nor will the 18 Prostock tires and 6 leaf springs coming tommorrow by ups...
Then its time to get them set up for the weekend, I may just bring it to work with me later this week after all are gone to dirt week
