Found this in a box of old die cast cars my sister found at a flea market about 5 years ago.

I had forgot about this box until craftymore said that he was looking for some banger bait cars. So I went through it and found some nice cars and some that were beat up.

I started with this little truck, stripped, cleaned up, primed, and painted my first successful two toned paint job in this scale. Added fresh wheels and some detailing.

I just got all the paint chips out of it. Before I cleaned it up, this little guy was well played with.

That looks so smooth! I really like your color choices. What did type of tape you use to mask off the paint lines?

I used 3M green automotive paint tape about a 1/4 of an inch wide
