New to this carpet thing with 4 cell's. What I need is an approx. gear for 17.5/4 cell, around 130' run line. Lrp sphere 2007, Novak 17.5. any help would be appreciated.

Roll-out should be around 3.70-3.80.......hope this helps

That rollout above should get u close,you can't gear 17.5 4 cell off motor temp,check laptimes.

laptimes are louder than words, and I disagree with Koz half-way? Start out at room temp or ambient temp(celsius or fahrenheit)Run car under race conditions and check motor temp>? A good efficient car should be cooler in temp! A poor set up car is going to work harder.. hence higher motor temps, and maybe higher tire temps? once car is good and efficient! Make the motor cooler or colder! lap times will drop MOtor temp is very important! To hot and motor will go into thermal and shut down not good, to much gear!
