matchboxtom 09-20-2008, 11:32 AM That Mustang looks great. I don't think I have seen that casting before.
summitdrinker 09-20-2008, 05:44 PM nice looking set, I like the mopars, the 64 plymouth is a must have
BluntFronts 09-20-2008, 10:42 PM I sure wish they would fix that rear roof pillar of the Chevelle. It is so wrong. The rest look good.
40Intrepid 09-22-2008, 08:00 AM That RR Convert is sittin' way up there, and are those knobby tires?!:(
The AAR is great!
Pablodragon 09-22-2008, 08:55 AM wow, yea...was gonna say...is that Roadrunner a 4x4?
...funny, looks the same, has the same stance..and is the same year as the old Johnny Lightning 69 Roadrunner from the 90's.... from the series where they all looked like 4x4's...at least the JL one had bigger wheels in the back!
glhshelby 09-22-2008, 10:21 PM daytona and cuda are awesome:woohoo:
robertwadehall 09-23-2008, 12:51 AM I sure wish they would fix that rear roof pillar of the Chevelle. It is so wrong. The rest look good.
The roof line looks ok to me, but something is strange about the front end...what's with the vertical lines on the front fenders? The pics I've seen of a '64 don't show separate front fender caps.
70XR7 09-24-2008, 08:19 AM Nice cars, but I really wish they would drop the tire/rims. That Road Runner looks flat out dumb sitting that high. Didn't realize GL was doing a Donks line....

You are right, 64 Chevelles did not have a vertical line or seam up the forward edge of the front fenders. For some reason, I noticed the same thing on the white 65 in the Speed line released recently. Guess I did not notice it on the other 65's released earlier. I do like the fact that a 64 has finally been done, and the color combo chosen. Even though technically, all 64 Chevelle SS models had full tri bar spinner wheel covers, I do like the dog dish caps on this GL version. Much nicer than the too big tire/wheel combinatoin on the 69 Road Runner convertible...
FastC6Vette 09-25-2008, 01:36 AM With Mac Ragan onboard now, he said they will eventually get rid of the 4x4 look for future releases. Anyone remember JL in their first few years from 1995-97? They looked the same way, but look at how nice most are now. Greenlight is still a new company and taking "baby steps" to improve some of the flaws we see now on certain castings. For something in the $4 price range, they look outstanding. Hot Wheels has 100% castings that retail for $10-12 and only may be close to the quality and level of detail as these.

The vertical line is probably where the different nose is put on??
STUTZ 09-25-2008, 11:28 PM I like the '64 Plymouth Sport Fury, the '69 Dodge Daytona, and the '70 AAR Cuda.
The Wheelman 09-27-2008, 11:01 PM The '64 Fury is a must have. Everything else is alright. Might get the Cuda as well.
