Is anyone set up to provide a Bearing Replacement or Bearing Upgrade to Ceramics INSTALLED?

Since we've been doing the BL motors for a while now...this might be something someone could be doing to earn a Few Extra $$$ at their track, or even by mailorder...

hmmmm

...just looking for something all the old MOTOR TUNERS can do... :)

I haven't replaced any yet, but I can't imagine it's too difficult... I see there is a install/remover tool.

Its not hard at all. I have done a few motors. You dont need the install tool. If you have every put a u joint in a real car without a press, this is cake. Just push them in straight.

HD make a removal/install tool, I got one last week from Lefthander, haven't used it yet, maybe next week, been running my 21.5 since Oct, might be time.

To Take Out The Back Bearing All You Have To Do Is Remove The Three Screws On The Back Of The Motor And That Black Plate Moves Right Out Of The Way And That Bearing Will Damn Near Fall Right Out. I ALSO ORDERED MY CERAMIC MOTOR BEARINGS FROM RC4LESS.COM

after over a year of running brushless - I hadn't ever removed the cover off the back of one - and thought I had heard someone say a while back them came out from the inside.

I have a motor that got FRIED a while back ago when I loaned it to a friend - so I tore that thing apart...and yeah - the REAR Bearing..SIMPLE...cool.

You, Levy, Pemberton and Buffa have been banned from ceramic bearing use. I will be checking your cars accordingly

Bearing replacement is pretty simple, I use the same tool I had for 20 years on brushed motors. 100% success rate when using a press, but it can be done without one easily if you take your time.

We offer an optional ceramic bearing upgrade on all our motors-installed.
