hrnts69 09-18-2008, 05:46 PM Goody!!! Sunday Racing!!!!!!
What time does the racing usually ends? High School on Mondays SUCK!!!
Also, does the Touring Car Class run Oval also???
CClay1282 09-18-2008, 05:59 PM All we have is oval, so everything runs oval... We usually get done around 5-6pm.
Part Timer 09-18-2008, 09:19 PM I know they are supposed to run on road courses to be legal and all but has anyone ran a VTA on the oval? Just a thought....don't throw anything.

kingkart 09-18-2008, 09:25 PM Will The 13mm Rotor Be Legal In The Brushless Class?
kingkart 09-18-2008, 09:26 PM If Theres 3 In A Class. I Would Think You Could
badoty 09-19-2008, 12:03 AM Will The 13mm Rotor Be Legal In The Brushless Class?
I would think No but I have been wrong in the past.......the rotor was made for onroad touring to give the motor more torque........I think we will have enough power to need one.........Just a thought
royz400 09-19-2008, 01:48 PM We will have to discuss that 13mm thing I don't know. Never even thought about that to honest.
CClay1282 09-19-2008, 03:29 PM Well i say since we are open to manufactures, and we allow ceramic bearings, and open speedos. And we have already decided the extra power doesnt help anything, why tell them they cant spend their money on what they want? Why create a hassle? Also, who is gonna tech the thing and measure it?
kingkart 09-19-2008, 03:53 PM any one want to buy some equipment. i see this is going back to money war. maybe i will stick to hot wheels.
67-4-fun 09-19-2008, 04:15 PM any one want to buy some equipment. i see this is going back to money war. maybe i will stick to hot wheels.its all a mind game you don't have to run what everbody else is running, run what you budget can afford and work on setup and you will be fine, because the fastguys will always be fast no matter what you give them..
Part Timer 09-19-2008, 04:16 PM You guys aren't going to price me out of Nastruck already are you??:) Dropped $40 at Joes today for tires, outdrives, etc. Still need wheels, inserts, lipo, ?:freak: Now if I have to drop more upgrading motor, speed control, etc., I would have been better off rebuilding the 454 for my Chevelle:thumbsup: I hope what ever rules you all pick they are interchangable with Newcastle so I can try to get upthere at least once the winter too:)

its starting to sound that way
nickcacc 09-19-2008, 08:01 PM Boyz, on a short track like Joes, too much hosspower can only get you in trouble unless your car is incredibly set up. A track like Newcastle, yeah, you could outgun someone and get away with it because of the size. Joe's is too short to worry about that stuff. I raced there when 6 cell modified was going on and most guys were faster or as fast running stock......I'm dating myself aren't I? Jon knows of what he speaks.
mowens-2 09-19-2008, 10:40 PM when is the new carpet going to be put down at the barn? thats what we ought to be talking about
badoty 09-20-2008, 12:17 AM when is the new carpet going to be put down at the barn? thats what we ought to be talking about
Now thats the spirit.........Hey why don't start racing first because a few of us have not even run brushless in there nastruck and throw lipo in there that is enough for now.........lets go racing boyz........
modsrus 09-20-2008, 11:00 PM its starting to sound that way
Trust me , From what I saw last year and my experience with brushless and lipo , I think ( :woohoo: ) any run of the mill 13.5 w/lipo will be competitive providing you spend the time on set up and " driving practice " of course unless you are a natural like the jon guy and his dog I have been hearing about , he didn't have to practice at all (did he Jon ;) )
badoty 09-20-2008, 11:09 PM So true Modsrus.....I think that will be the key this season will be to figuring out the setup and just being able to drive in traffic.........sounds like we will have a nice size nasturck field this season......that is great.......
67-4-fun 09-20-2008, 11:24 PM I need all the practice I can get..... got more money tooooooooo spend so i can keep up..lol
