When you cycle your pack, what kind of average voltage numbers are you getting. I have two trakpower packs, and i was just wondering what other people were getting on theirs, or other style packs.

CClay1282 09-18-2008, 03:43 PM I just want a close estimate. From the numbers im getting, these packs dont seem to be the greatest. Just wondering what other people are getting. pmsimkins 09-18-2008, 03:52 PM What Trakpower packs are they 3200 (30C), 3200 (20C) or some other capacity? How do you cycle them, cold, hot? Where do you hook up your little GFX voltage sensing leads? My Trackpower 3200 (30C) pack showed about ~7.20V avg., and ~9.5IR. This was cycled totally cold and with the little leads clipped to the bullet connectors as close to the pack as possible. Hope that helps. I'm sure somebody will disagree with my numbers, becuase there is always something to disagree with. My numbers were on a GFX cycled at 20 amps with 6v cutoff. they are the trakpower 4900 25c i beleive. I only got an average voltage of 7.15 volts. That doesnt seem right to me. and yes the sensor leads were hooked up to the bullets seperate of the main leads. pmsimkins 09-18-2008, 05:29 PM My numbers were on a GFX cycled at 20 amps with 6v cutoff. they are the trakpower 4900 25c i beleive. I don't have any experience with that pack and I run everything at 35A. If I had to guess I'd expect the pack to be higher than that with a 20A discharge. Pretty much any time people are talking numbers on here they are talking with a 35A discharge. CClay1282 09-18-2008, 05:48 PM Yeah, but i have heard of some of the trakpowers power connectors coming unsoldered when discharging at a constant 35 amps. :( nickbell1390 09-18-2008, 06:18 PM my numbers are almost identical to tags 3200 30c CClay1282 09-18-2008, 06:23 PM my numbers are almost identical to tags 3200 30c Ok, but what about some higher capacity batts? jdearhart 09-18-2008, 08:00 PM Smc 3200 @ 35 amps. 347 Rt 7.32 V 7.8 Ir katf1sh 09-18-2008, 09:38 PM every smc 5000 pack has the numbers on them. 2Groovy4U 09-18-2008, 10:27 PM I have a SMC 5000 28c that cycles at: 563 sec. 5.6 IR 7.39 Voltage I also have a no nmae pack 5000 25c that cycles at: 560 sec. 5.0 IR 7.47 Voltage :) All cycled on GFX 10 amp charge and 35 amp discharge.
