I have a late 1980's Murray with a 12.5 Briggs. It was running this spring. I had some kids trespass and fired up my mower and ran it out of gas, now it won't turn over at all. It was beat with a hammer and left outside in the weather. The battery tested OK, replaced the ignition switch, and solenoid. I have current to the starter, but starter will not turn over, not even a click. Any ideas would be appreciated?

Starter may have gotten water in it and caused the armature to seize up on the bushings, or if they beat on the starter with a hammer, could have broken loose one of the magnets inside. Need to remove the starter and have a look inside.
