View Full Version : KSKD "The Dual" Spec Pan Car Coming Soon!!!!
omnis85 09-13-2008, 04:01 PM Hello Spec Racers.
KSKT Racing Products will be releasing "The Dual" Sk/Spec Pan Car chassis in the next few weeks. We have already been taking pre orders and when the chassis plates are in stock the kits will be shipping.
What is the Dual?
We have came up with a chassis design that can be raced as two different race cars. Imagine if you were to show up at a track wanting to run in the SK class or pan car class and no one was there to race against you in that class, this car with a few simple bolt on peices or removal of those pieces allows you to transform that SK car into a Spec pan car or vise versa. This car can also be ran against the high end pan cars and still be very competitive.
How does it perform?
The cars first weekend out 6 months ago broke 2 track records, 2 Tq's as a SK car against many different level performing drivers including a past snowbird winning champion.
As a pan car it has competed in several events in the northeast that has done very well placing in the top 3 a few times. We have tested this car locally before our track closed down running lap times faster than we have ever seen there before.

omnis85 09-13-2008, 06:56 PM I got the question about the center shock. This car will be able to use a Oil filled adjustable center shock, but will not be supplied with one at this time.
omnis85 09-13-2008, 07:09 PM If you would like to pre order your kit email us.
omnis85 09-13-2008, 10:35 PM here is an under veiw of the prototype D chassis, notice how the front bumper is flush with the chassis plate..

omnis85 09-14-2008, 12:46 PM I have added the Info and allowed the pre orders to be paid for on the website.
The KSKT V2 is NO Longer being sold but all my parts support the chassis.
The DUAL is now a direct replacement chassis for the V2, The only hole that has changed body mount wise was the left rear. The chassis plate has a $5 increase from the V2 simply because of more machining work done on the chassis.
Just remember the COMPLETE kit is $210.00
"The DUAL" Two cars in one but the price of ONE CAR kit. How much will you spend on a Pro Pan car this year? We took the guess work out for you, the thinking has pretty much been done, there are NO shocks to rebuild, there are very few adjustments but enough there to do what you want and then some. SIMPLE!!!!!
Each Kit no matter be it a Complete Kit or Chassis kit will come with a FULL Instruction Manual with illustrated pictures to help build the car. I am also including several tips, setups and a complete parts list to help further assist that build.
KSKT Racing Products takes PRIDE is providing the BEST customer service we can put out. We do not just take your money and avoid you. We constantly think of new and exciting things to offer the racer. We want to thank you the racers for your continued support. KSKT is NOTHING without the racers.

laserboy34 09-28-2008, 12:16 PM Would i be able to compete with this car in a pan car class at a big race?

I dont know if there is a past snowbird winning champion running SK cars right now, but I know at the time I was running my new KSKD prototype I ran against a past winning champ in that class at that time which was Mike Valentine. Mike and I have ran against each other in the SK class many times last year and at that time he was running a competitors car and infact he won that race. Mike has also ran my car and won with it at RCH in NY. PSST I let him win that one.lol
Do you need this chassis to win in the SK class? NO any Legit SK mfg's car out there will work and win, we have had a lot of success because it is a very easy driving and setup car. I also take pride in providing the best service be it setup or sales to anyone, not just team drivers. Each person/account is as valuable as the next.
Can you be competitive running this car as a PAN car against the big MFG's pan cars, why not? There are a lot of pan car MFG's out there doing very basic designs with lots of flex and big MFG's doing Rocket science designs to do the same thing. Gain your trust and help you have fun and or win. Its all on what you the racer wants to get involved in and race.
Any other questions please feel free to ask.

omnis85 10-04-2008, 01:18 PM thanks rick, we are doing ok so far(crossing fingers), since we got the kits in last monday we have filled close to 10pre orders and sold a few off the site. We are very excited and hope very much as well for it to take off. I just wish there was something like this to offer when I first started out. Just an option and its very hard to succeed in todays market when there are so many quality parts and kits to offer. Thanks for the words
omnis85 10-13-2008, 05:29 PM 2 out of the 6 Sk cars in the A main at the Stockified race at Turn 4 was the New KSKD DUAL chassis. Dan T and me Ken K took 2nd and 3rd in the A with the new cars. 12 out of the 16 cars were KSKT cars. Thanks for the support guys!!!
