What about the 85 to 89? That was the UGLIEST Nova I have ever seen. You know the Toyota body style. But I am with the Rest, Late 60's to early 70's would be nice jimhowie2000 09-12-2008, 09:56 PM Though JL did 69-72 Novas, they were not completely accurate, the rear wheel openings were way off. They never actually did a 68, which as the owner of a 68 SS since 1977, I wonder why. The 68 SS had lower production numbers than the 69-72s and was the first year for the body style, 350 V8, 396 V8 in a Nova, last year for no headrests as standard, last year for dash mounted ignition switch, and last year for the Chevy II designation. chevy263 09-12-2008, 10:36 PM Any year Nova? While drag racing in a paved alley, someone thought it would be funny to push a large empty metal dumpster out in our path. Hit that dumpster at about 50 mph. Was the loudest noise I've ever heard. That dumpster rolled for half a block, banging into parked cars along the way. Seemed like a minor crash from inside the car (probably because the dumpster was empty). Nova was totaled. These days I have trouble getting that out of my mind. I tried to fill the void with a 70 SS, but I still to this day (25 years later) miss that 68. Cozmictoys vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
