Only reason I ask is that Amazon UK has the Season 4 box set for sale, due for release on October 6...

I ain't seen any torrents for the show since the ep 10 cliffhanger, and some of the torrents I did get were from Sky (the UK network). So if the Brits ain't screened the rest of the season yet, how can they have the whole show on boxset?

Because the box sets are sold in half seasons.
They make more money that way.

The rest of BSG won't air until 2009.

That may be true for the US, but typically RotW has had the box as the complete season - wonder if that's changed now.

IIRC, wasn't the US-box for Season 3 released all in on go, rather than as 3.0 and 3.5...?

Yes, but that's because Season 3 wasn't split up by several months, as season 2 was. And as Season 4 currently is.

According to SciFi.com the remainder of season four is still scheduled to begin airing in January, despite Aaron Douglas' statements at Dragon*Con that we may not see new episodes until April.

This gas got to be the longest running show ever and it is only "3 or4" seasons.
The way they have split this with the time between seasons just going longer and longer what has it been now ten years!? RIDICULOUS programming decision.

Seriously I went from huge fan that couldnt wait to see next weeks show to I really could care less now if it ever completes.

The mini ran in 2003, with the show starting in 2004, I think. If the past is any indication, someone will look it up on inmd.com and correct me soon.
