Is there anybody going to be at the first race? I am hearing no talk about anybody making it. Someone needs to really get the ball rolling or this place is going to die before it ever lives. Are the car launchers gone or not? Other than that all i have heard is good stuff about the place, We are planning on going if they have been removed or cut down enough that they will not launch the cars. Speak up or nobody will show up. Later-Benjie Wright

Benji,
John Norman told me that they barriers were cut down to 1/2" high. I asked him to take some pics of them so i could see for myself. Hopefully, they have been cut down like he said. Have made one trip there and launced a car 30 feet into the air. Great track!!!! but waiting on word bout them catapults. I am working that weekend and cannot change my schedule. i hate it as it is a great track to race on. hopefully there will be a good crowd there for the initial race.

I have heard from John Norman via PM. He has told me that the "fixes" will be in place Wednesday and he will send me pictures of it then. Tim talked to him yesterday morning (Saturday) and John told him that what they are installing is a flexible PVC pipe that will be filled with some substance that they use at Road Atlanta and they will be kept in place by sandbags.

John -- Keep us informed.
