Looking to purchase a new charger to do LIPO's. Ive searched the forums quite a bit and seem to think the Checkpoint 1030 may be the way to go.

My question is how does it stack up to the others as far as cycling packs goes. One reason I like it is the 30 amp discharge but does it give you average voltage and IR readings?

I have a turbo35stealth now and im considering having it upgraded but I really dont like the size of it and I could buy a new 1030 for the $$$ I could get for my T35 + upgrades.

I have both, id save your money and upgrade your 35. The checkpoint will charge just fine but its a stepped discharge and wont warm up the lipo pack. They seem to run better with some heat in them. I'd just upgrade the 35 and save your money.

Thunder Power 610c lipo charger is the ticket. I know Horizon has them, but may be back ordered right now
