View Full Version : Dash 427 S/C
lenny 09-08-2008, 07:45 AM We are planning on releasing our Dash 427 S/C (Cobra clone) in 1:32 and possibly 1:43 scale. I don't believe these will be ready by the end of this year, it's looking more like early spring. More details will be posted as they become available.

micyou03 09-08-2008, 10:03 AM I'm hoping you do the 1/43rd.
I'd definitely love to see both a 1/32 and 1/43 scale. I just recently got into 1/43 scale and have been enjoying the benefits of being able to run the smaller scale on the 1/32 track.
Lenny,
Do you have any pictures or drawings of what the car will look like?
Thanks for the heads up!

f1nutz 09-26-2008, 04:40 PM That is great news! Will it have a chassis or just body only? I love your HO bodies If you can do some of them in 32nd scale it would be great. Keep up the great work.

It'll be the complete chassis. We're looking at a sidewinder configuration and considering different motors to get us more room for a real interior. I don't have an exact time frame when these can be expected...
f1nutz 10-21-2008, 03:19 PM Cool! looking forward to it. Any chance you could do a Cheetah as well? It and the Cobra would make a nice pair. MRRC have been talking about it for a while but it hasn't surfaced yet.

[edited] Antagonizing post
slotcarman12078 10-28-2008, 12:52 PM Say Dan, I'm wondering if you could answer a question a bunch of us have been pondering over for a while now. On your website, you have mentioned a T Jet chassis is in the works. There has been a ton of speculation over what scale this chassis will be made in. If you or Tom get a minute, is there anyway we could be clued in??? Either here or in chat. Thank you!!

Nice looking cheetah on that site, I just wish it had the a and b pillars?? ! it would make it stronger and 2 I am pretty sure the real car had them

I like their T/A cars as well. I'm currently working on a 24th scale Challenger and would love to pick up a few of his 32nd scale bodies.

No, they didn't actually have an A Pillar between the top of the doorpost to the roof. There was a roll hoop that was behind the windshield.
That post less roof was one of the real visual eyecathers in the Cheetah design, and part of it's sleek curvaceousness.
