Just curious. I'm a long way from being finished mine, but I've seen some just stunning finished Moebius models here. Is anyone submitting photos or articles of their projects to Starship Galleries or Cultman or Fine Scale Modeler or anywhere else?
Just broke down and got my first FSM in years. Virtually nothing of much interest in it still. Not only would some of this incredible work make FSM interesting again, but if we want more Moebius, we (well anyone that actually finishes a model in less than half a year) need to be sharing them with more than this thread and getting the word of mouth out there. Your incredible work is the best advertising they could ever have.

Working feverously , still weeks away from finishing the Seaview, Space Pod and Chariot , I can't leave well enough alone...I keep finding more things to detail and add. Got an insane idea to open and hinge the rear door on the Chariot, dug out the razor saw to do surgery tonight.

I have photo documented the builds on all and plan to submit articles to FSM.

Ductape: Be careful opening the back door!! The clear is extremely brittle. If you have a dremel, use a cutoff wheel instead and plan on building a new door from scratch. But even sanding the cut edges smooth you run the risk of cracking the surrounding plastic. Use .060 Evergreen channel for the new frames, repeatedly stain the inside of the channel with a red permanent Staedler marking pen and let it sit between coats until very dry. Another option I've been thinking about trying is staining the styrene with beet juice??? - you need the inside of the frame to be red before you glue the clear into it, as you can see the inside channel color through the clear.
And good on ya - with luck there will finally be something worth reading in FSM again!

Don't ya' love it when a plan works?!

Sometime's ya' just gotta' have some balls and go for it.

gla dit worked out beautifully. I have to say, this is one heck of an effort on your part of this build. It's incredible so far. We probably won't see any better than this!
