Picked this one up a while ago. Car is dark red (darker than the pics turned out) with barbie base and light tan interior.

I don't think any cars have been released in this color (it's darker than the red with blue stripe and white stars 2006 Superfast GT40). Factory sample, perhaps?

I collect the Ford GT's and that's the 1st time I have ever seen that color. I would say you definetly have a sample or Pre Pro. The rivets look OK so I doubt if it's something someone doctored. You didn't find that hanging on a peg did you.
