hey all: Was just wondering if there is still a 1/10th paved/carpet oval class that uses oval truck bodies. Also what's the future of the touring oval class as i know they used the truck bodies as well? Thanks  :)

We still have a strong Nastruck class out West in the SouthWest tour oval series. We run 3200 orion's with Novak 17.5 motors and have some of the closest racing ever. Check out www.southwesttour.com for more info and race results from this years events.

hey all: Thanks for the info. I'm not racing at the moment, but from the rc oval pic and vids i've seen on line they look realy cool. Just something different from your standard oval body. Thanks

NASTRUCK is one of our biggest classes on the oval.. Any pan car chassis (L4's and HD are the most popular), truck body, any motor and battery(yes including lipo/a123), with a breakout lap time.
6 minute heats, 10 minute main
Its a great beginner class and just tough enough to give the veterans the fits.. links at www.hobbystop.com
I wish more venues would give the trucks their fair shake... I'll leave it at that...

Nastruck is our most popular class. Three heats of them but two of any other class. Legends sometimes has three heats also.
We run Nastruck bodies on touring cars with rubber tires, 13.5 motors, lipo batts (allowed); lots of fun. Very fast.

At New Castle we are planning on running a 17.5/4cell pantruck class this season that has stirred up a lot of intrest. It should be a pretty big class...
