View Full Version : Dash AFX Racing Camaros
AfxToo 09-06-2008, 10:22 AM Finally, some more Dash joy for us snapper-er-on body guys. The new AFX format Camaros (http://www.dash-motorsports.com/shopping/page5.html) look great, no goofy bowties, just appropriately clean rally stripes. I would like to see something in red background (hint! hint!) to satisfy my IROC quest, but the stripes-on-white variations are quite stunning. Something about the black stripes on the white body looks so "Classically Cool Camaro." Way to go Dan.

They are nice, but what's NOT nice is the $25.00 min purchase requirement from the online store! I wanted two bodies and it would not allow me to complete the transaction and there was nothing else I wanted...so Dan you lost sale.....
Yo!
AfxToo 09-06-2008, 09:08 PM There are plenty of other dealers selling Dash products at or below the factory price. In all fairness to Dan, his primary job is creating the products and managing their manufacturing and distribution to resellers. There are several other dealers in the sales channel who have more and better resources at their disposal for getting the Dash products out to individual buyers in typical resale quantities. Factory direct is not always the most flexible option and it's really a secondary line of distribution.
Maybe some other dealers will chime in and get JLM hooked up.

The $25 minimum purchase is for the FREE shipping on mail-in orders.
You can order one body if you want, you just have to pay the shipping.
One body..$10.99 + $4.00 shipping (parcel post-$5 for priority)total order $14.99.

mopar78 09-07-2008, 11:09 PM Tom Stumpf, frequents this board and usually advises when he is receiving his dash bodies and when he will be putting them on sale.I'm sure some of the people in here have dealt with him before. He was listed on the dash website with an email address but it is no longer there.I know he is getting these bodies because i spoke with him the other day.So be on the lookout for a posting from him.Just trying to help.

roffutt 09-08-2008, 01:44 PM How does the DASH bodies weight compare to the originals? It seems the JL/AW bodies are a little heavier then the original AFX counter-parts?
