Okay, I know this topic has been beaten to death, and they've made some changes.. but...
I just picked up the Convertible Custom Olds 442 from MCG 7, and noticed it had similar wheels to the Custom 442 from MCG 6... SIMILAR... the ones on the hardtop were great, perfectly proportioned.. the convertible has the rims which I believe are the skinny fronts from the SPEED drag cars?? they look awful, and they dont fit very well under the body... they put the little plastic spacers to fix the problem, but why didn't they just use the same wheels from the other custom 442?? the size and the fit was perfect!!
ALSO, why do they keep putting dog dish rims on the GTX's, and the magnums on the RoadRunners?? Shouldn't it be the other way around?? The custom rims on the '70 charger are also too big for the casting... they need to put more dogdish and plain steelies on these MOPARS!!! (I hope we see a sixpack dodge soon...)
I wish GL would just start selling a custom wheel pack... I swear I'd pay $10-20 bucks just to be able to put the rims I want to on these cars... or if they'd do a custom 'screw together' car like the old Johnny lightning customizing kits...
