Hey, I am sure most of you are getting sick of me asking about this... when i ordered my brushless system for my 18MT ( Castle Creations Mamba Sidewinder Micro 65 Kv) and it was backordered for some reason.. O.o Sooooo.. Last time I am asking. Then no more on this topic. :)


Ok.. I have a chance to order new gears.. I am wondering what gear ratio can i use safley? I have a 55 tooth spur and a 15 tooth pinion brand new on hand in my box... Will these work? I really dont wanna burn out my gears or differential. I realize this motor is pretty big for this RC without upgrades so i wont be running full throttle anytime soon. =o

What is stock on the truck?
There is so much power there you can gear up quite a bit.

hah, nice bob I would but i boughted it and i like it =] it just arrived. I am going to use the stock gear ratios. ill see what happens.. BUT i got the Deans Ultr plug connectors and set up the ESC and all my batteries with them.. Forgot that I dont have the part for my charger.. So no running it till I get the deans female plug for my charger...

So no running it till I get the deans female plug for my charger...You didn't mention batteries so here goes, couple of years ago a group of us raced 18ts as latemods with sidewinders and 5400 motors changed gears up n down (clay bullring) nothing broke, wore out dogbones/cvds and had fun, if your running on a large area go as big as you can lap times will determine correct gearing have fun! :dude: The Dude prevails
