I was wondering what size of brass tubing people use to make new axles or just to extend the wheels base?

axle tubes or axle shafts?

HotWheels, MBox, and Johnny Ltng require 1/16" tubing.
Jada axles are a little larger in diameter and use 3/32" tubing.

Quick axle tube tips;
The ink tube out of a pen is the perfect size for Jada axles.
The straw from a can of WD-40 fits HW and JL axles.

Thanks for the ideas guys, i should have been more spefic though in my first request. I guess i would need both. replacement for axles and the tubing size for extending the wheel base.
