Hey, Scott. This is what I use on my wheels, http://www.quarterscalecar.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=168. I keep these in stock. The strips are thin so you don't have to worry about them making contact with the suspension parts. Let me know if you want some. Thanks.

Hi Scott, If you are using them to balance tires I use Golf Club weights found at a sporting goods store, and if adding weight to the car I use a lead tape weight from a tire shop they are much thicker. The club weights are real thin but still about 1/2 inch wide!!!...
