There are two big flea markets in our area every Memorial and Labor Day weekends. My wife and I go every year and we have set up a couple times. This year I didn't do too bad:

Some I found in die cast boxes:), some the vendor knew they were slots. One vendor had a TYCO set w/4 Aurora T-Jet cars. All the cars were cut, broke, painted, etc... He offered it to me for $150. I walked away. While I was still in earshot range, he offered it to another person for $200!!:dude:

The vendor that I got the Chaparral from had a table full of slots, HO, 1/32 and 1/24. The Chaparral was the nicest one. The only thing wrong is the roll bar is missing, imagine that. All the others were broke, cut, painted, etc... I almost bought a T-Jet Mustang that had a VW Thing top grafted on to it!:freak:

The LL Corvette set box the cars are sitting on is complete, the cars are in the right front of the picture.

The AFX ad is on the back of a comic book. The vendor looked at me kinda funny when I was looking at the back of the comics and not the front. I explained all I wanted was the ad on the back.

I also left a couple Artin battery op sets and a box of Artin battery op set cars.

Wow, Marty. That's a nice haul. You're a lucky guy. You live real close to Mid Ohio and you can find sweet slot stuff at flea markets. Viva Ohio!

Sweet finds! I've been finding stuff pretty consistently for the last couple of years. Nothing really super-awesome, but finding ANYTHING slot-related is a victory as far as I'm concerned. Some highlights for me so far this year were a Tyco Quadracer set - complete - for $3 and just Friday at a yard sale I picked up a jar - yes a JAR - of disassembled slots consisting of Wild Ones Cougar, Wild Ones Camaro, Tuff Ones Willys, Tyco Chrome Trans-Am, Tyco black Trans-Am. That guy kinda knew they had a value but I got the whole jar for $30 so we were both happy. I like to see when other people find stuff too - thanks for posting!!

Nice haul, I don't often get a chance to look, but I also love to see what can be found out there. I'd like to come across a 1st gen RX 7 like that! thanks for posting
