OK, I know to sell things you need to emphasize the important points, but I think this goes above and beyond.

This is very similar to the ad that started this thread:

http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=227681

The same seller is still trying to get double price on Dash bodies with what looks to be on JL/AW TJet chassis (from the tire/axle appearance). At least this new ad lists the bodies as Dash.

Now for the bashing. How can one call bodies that are currently in production and listed for sale by numerous dealers Rare/HTF? Jag Hobbies, Lucky Bobs, and HO Slotcars (Kelly Pickel) all have either the bodies or the bodies with chassis (Kelly) in stock. Everyone wants to make a profit but buying retail and doubling the price is a bit much for something in production. We are clearly nt dealing with minty fresh NOS here. The seller is basically preying on newbies that can't spot this for the rip off it is. Given how small our hobby is, we really don't need folks screwing new blood and driving them away. :(

OK, I'll go drink some and quit ranting. :freak:

Hahahahahahaha! TFF Nuther! Just caught this submarine ball ya tossed right over the plate.

The answer is 'prolly no. The Dixie brand awards podium is only available seperately. Fortunatly for us they can be scavenged in slightly used form at any campground or city park; providing that you dont mind a little catchup & mustard.

Yer a dry wit and a wiley 'yote.

I just figured that at those prices, the owner must REALLY love those cars alot and that is the value he put to them. I dunno.

Just the lame kind that the ebay seller used as a 'platform' for taking his auction picture...

I guess maybe it could be used for a fruit salad, or something like that...

Hey, did ya'll hear that Epay is going to start charging for viewing these insane ads? Log on to find out more. You can pick up your eToll tag pop-up at eBay.com. Years from now we'll all laugh at the days when we could surf ePay for free.
