Hey y'awl -
My brother just ended up with a large box of very hammered on Lesneys from the '60s.
One (not too bad a shape) is the #31 Lincoln. I've never seen the likes of this color before. It's not the blue, it's not the torquose, it's a medium green metalic. I'l take a pic and show you all soon if anyone wants to see.
The color isn't listed in my book.
Any insight on this?
Thanks, Dav!e

Not sure if I ever saw a pic of this one in that color variation before. Let's see a pic!

I took pix of it in all possible lighting conditions and ironically it just looks like the blue color - not at all representitave uv the actual model. Think 1966 Plymouth Valiant light green met.
It's extreemly close to this color rightcheer.

Welcome back Lummox , hope its been a joyfilled successful spring and summer for you
There are 3 major shade variations on this -standard medium metallic blue, much darker metallic blue and a turquoise medium metallic -the greeny turquoise one does turn up but is less common than the standard blue. Its a bit like finding turquoise rather than green 75 Ferrari Berlinettas - they are all out there because Lesney didnt clean the paint guns between colours and metallic blue and green would most likely be consecutive colours used -its a good find, and I dont have one yet!

 I had a feeling you would come through!
Great info from you as allways...I learned something, and shall relay the info to mines bruvah. That will make him happy - sounds like a great find for him even though it's not in great shape...maybe a 7 in a scale of 1 to 10.

My spring and summer has been really fun, hope you are doing good too.
