I raced one for a while and it's a competent club level racer. Not as good as the Durga or the 501 obviously, but it can get the job done.

#1 upgrade should be the slipper clutch if you plan on running a faster motor or have a lot of jumps on your track. Your gears will thank you.

Followed shortly by shocks. I ran some Losi shocks that I had in my parts box and they did fine.

Converting to the B4 spur gears will also allow you to run true 48p gear combos. You just need to ream out the center hole slightly to fit the slipper top shaft.

Other than that, have fun with it. Just make sure to check the screws after each run. They have a nasty habbit of backing out of the plastic and causing problems.

I've since moved to the Academy buggy for more tuning options and frankly better parts availability here in the states.

I have changed the Shock's to sportwerk's.
So now when i jump the buggy will not bottom out.
There is only one jump on the track i race on.
it is only about a 9 inch jump.
I did put a one way in the front diff for jumping.
I really like tamiya stuff just picked up a DFO-2.
This will be my first kit build.
