Just wanted to let everyone know to disregard the post we had started last week stating rules for this season. We are re-working them now.
And here we thought we were gonna have a day off?! Oh well... :-)

September scrambler season opener flyer is posted on the website. It is on the "EVENT FLYER" page below the point series flyer for now. It'll get bumped up to top of page when I remove point series flyer after next weekend.

Hope to be posting battery/ESC/motor rules by the weekend.

We took some pictures of the track progress in west Boylston last night. I hope to get those posted this week. So far pits are built. We still got a lot of work to do!

New rules have been posted on the website. We are bringing back the ride height rule for this season.
Novak continues to be the only legal brushless motor. However we have opened up the lipo batt MFGs to:
Orion 3200/20c carbon edition
Orion 3600/25c race spec pack
SMC 3200/28c
Tekin 3400/20c
Reedy 3200/20c
TrakPower 3200/20c
All must be hard case 7.4v/2cell &charged in a lipo sack.

Speed controls may be any LRP or novak or the Tekin RS.

Because of the rising cost of gas, we are forced to close on Friday nights now except for the Fridays before a trophy event. We will also be closed Saturdays except before a trophy event. New Sunday hours will be 9am until racing ends & racing starting at noon. These hours go into effect starting Sept. 15.

Mike I Will not be racing this year. But if I was I would be there. See you next year.

Stafford Motor Speedway cancelled their Fall Final this weekend because of the rain and rescheduled for Oct. 10-12...which means we MUST be closed Oct. 12, the date we had scheduled for Stockified...SO we will move the race to Saturday night, Oct. 11th!!!

We just don't want to see the classes get split up too much like last year. That's our major concern.

Maybe 5 minutes to start to see the effects, my concern is the additional heat put into the motors by running longer races. Lipo's and speedo's should handle extended races easy enough.

Oh yeah, add me to the 17.5 lipo list.
