I caught some Enterprise episodes for the first time on Sci-Fi.
1. How many alternate univerise episodes did they do? I think there have been about four on today. On the other star trek series, they appear to have done "The Holodeck goes crazy" episodes whenever they ran out of story ideas. It looks like they did "Another Alternate Universe" on Enterprise when the same thing happened.
2. One episode I saw had a different theme. It was pretty lame but anything is an improvement over that dog sung by the guy who sounds like he has constipation. Did they change the theme in later seasons?
Now I know why I missed them the first time around.

1- Not sure about the total count of alternate universes/timelines but there was certainly a fair amount of them. That was one of the overriding backgrounds of the entire show with the Suliban getting help from the future in the "Temporal Cold War" and the one Enterprise crew member who was a Federation Time Agent..... yes, that's right... Fed Time Cop!
2- It's the same theme song "Faith of the Heart" but they picked up the tempo in the latter seasons, I guess to make it seem more exciting (oops!). I for one like the song, and the original style that Russell Watson did it in. Don't blame him for having a good song on a stinker of a series.
Even though I liked the show (but consider it Trek-Like.. not Trek) there were a few good things that happened. First and foremost were the Mirror Universe episodes. If you haven't seen them I highly suggest you do. They were helmed by Manny Coto and are by far the best episodes ever done on that series. Secondly, I think the Andorians were great...They caught their temperament much better than the "arrogant" Vulcans that B&B felt represented an alien race without emotions..... shows why the series tanked fast.

I too lost count. Each time "Daniel" appeared it could be consider a change in the timeline creating alternate paths.
And then there's the future aliens who continually manipulated the Xindi.
I think they had more "activity" than Kirk.

The theme was actually different for the Mirror universe episodes in Season 4, by the way.
If you caught the marathon on Sci-Fi Friday, you saw what they termed the "viewer's choice" marathon. That picked some of the better episodes, and several of them had to do with alternate timelines, etc. E2 and Twilight were both part of it and dealt with changes in the timeline. It also included both of the "In A Mirror, Darkly ..." episodes. Those episodes played on three TOS episodes: "Mirror, Mirror," "Arena" and "The Tholian Web."
Enterprise, in Season 4, also touched on the Organians and finally explained why the Klingons had regular foreheads in TOS (it has to do with Khan's people and one of Data's ancestors). It also delved into detail on the Vulcans (and managed to fix the screwed-up way they were protrayed in the first three seasons) and gave us more of the Andorians.

I personally think the Andorian episodes are some of the better ones of ENTERPRISE's run...loved Jeffrey Comb's character!

well, Combs is just darn good no matter what he does.
Did he ever call Mayweather "Pink-Skin?"

Y'know... I don't think he did!
Reminds me of Mel Brooks as the Sioux chief exclaiming, "Whew, they darker than us!"
