Many times sellers are really fast on posting pics, answering questions on the items they sell and super sonic fast on giving you their paypal addy.

Then money is sent, and you ask for a tracking number, and when has the item been shipped, no response. Days go by, it's only been 2 or three days after the purchase but it seems like an eternity, and still no tracking number, nothing from the seller. You sit there and remind yourself that you made the purchase from this seller based on all the great feedback he's had from previous buyers, but you still are a little worried.

I don't want to have the item the next day, all I want is to know is that the item that I bought is in the mail, not sitting on your shelf.

Note to all sellers, PLEASE maintain communication AFTER the sale. Thank you.

I have had the same thing happen several time. Do not see tracking info
till I get my package.

The paypal labels do not track on usps systems. Found that out.

I use the confirmation number all the time using USPS. Only twice has the pkg. been delivered and it never showed that it was even accepted. Main thing to know is that the pkg. was delivered! Like Outlaw said,a little info is better than none. I've been in the same boat waiting for word and about 5 days later (or more), the pkg. shows up. I hate to pester a person but we all worry a little bit!!!

Alot of people are just to busy to deal with it..... Most times the good deals come from guys that are getting out, because they dont have time.... I have been slacking latley i used to be a very prompt shipper but now only ship once a week because i simply dont have time........

As long as you tell the person, if you say nothing and only ship one day a week and the buyer missed your shipping date and you wait untill the next week and do not say anything that is wrong. If you are only willing to ship when you feel like it they tell them before they buy from you. Not giving you a hard time but like I sed if you tell them that then no problem.

It seems lately that more and more sellers are not doing feedback and will tell the person that they sold to leave me feedback first
IMO that's not right you have my money how can you not leave me feedback It's not like my money isn't any good or not what I said I was going to send

Yup, you'd be suprised how just taking the time to let your buyer know when the item was or will be shipped gives him confidence, even if you don't have a tracking number.

If you are only to ship a week later, at least mention it BEFORE you sell, so there won't be worries.

I've had the same problem, but took tracking no. to post office and they tracked it for me. This has happened twice both times they came back with the info I was looking for.

I have never had a problem with the USPS tracking number. I use confirmation and the website tells you where it is and when it is delivered. I had one guy tell me he never got his package until I produced the USPS post that showed it was delivered, where, and when. He suddenly remembered that he had got it and had me confused with some else.

I have to say this is becoming more of a problem. I see in the for sale section on two threads just today about problems with sellers not comunicating and buyers not reciving items they bought. I also have been waiting 3 weeks now for something. I was told it was shipped Priority mail but was late on shipping and it has not got here and its been 2 weeks. They can't produce a tracking # or confirmation # either. I am not naming names as I don't want to start anything yet but its not looking good.

If you are selling something, please keep the buyer posted on the shipping, get a tracking # or confirmation # and keep it till the transaction is complete that way if there is a problem and it has been a few weeks, something can be done about it with written proof.

On a side note for sellers also, if you are selling something please answer your pm's and keep the thread posted with what is sold. I know not everyone has time to be checking it all the time but at least every couple days update it would be nice.

EDIT: I was just informed buy the seller that it has been tracked and was delayed by a storm. It looks like this is a shippng problem and not the sellers, time will tell. For the time being comunication is making it alot better.

USPS needs to fix this for sure.
I made a trade with a guy 4 weeks ago, and have gotten nothing but lies, and excuses from him. He got my stuff in 2 days.
First he said it was shipped, then his girlfriend forgot to ship it so he shipped it again, next after three weeks he tells me it shipped yesterday. Without a tracking # there's no way to beleive him now. He has absolutely no credibility after this.

Now he keeps telling me his post office is slow, or give it another day.

I'm not going to call his name, but his initials are Taylor Baney (L4ovalracer).

Now he had stopped answering emails and PM's weeks ago, until I started asking him on other treads about it. He just keeps stringing me along.
This kids got a lot to learn.

i1st off i used to ship alot from mailboxes etc then they would only ship every seven days when you take something to them to usps priority i have packages out ther now for over 2 weeks and the buyers have yet to get them 2-3 priority is a JOKE more like 7 -10 ten days and if mailboxes etc cant track it you have to go to corperate to get answers oh and then throw in bad weather and it will take 10 plus days I HAVE LEARNED THE HARD WAY I WILL NEVER EVER SHIP WITH MAILBOXES ETC AGAIN i can look like an a@# on my own i dont need help :confused:

Really! No, its been 2 days short of 30 days............ 28 days since the date of payment and still nothing.
