ScottH 08-29-2008, 12:51 AM John -- Did they get those "car destroyers" off the track?
If so, it is a GREAT place to run. Count us in!
Echeconnee 08-29-2008, 07:01 AM That was my question. I don't think the KSG can take any more "flights"John -- Did they get those "car destroyers" off the track?

ScottH 08-29-2008, 07:48 AM Yeah Cliff, I agree.
I was not brave enough to get that close to them, did not have the wheel to keep off of them.
Cause this ain't good...

But seriously guys, if the "ramps" are gone, that place is very racey, lots of grip and I think would be VERY-VERY cool! It is right next to a short track and across the street from Road Atlanta.
spdway rcr 03 08-29-2008, 03:23 PM he told me they had been replaced with smaller humps but ifWE didnot like them he will make us a inside wall cover come on guys i need a 25 car feild 2 times a month so we can race there and in the spring we can have 2 sat afternoon races and 1 nite under the lights lets make this happen
ScottH 08-29-2008, 06:13 PM Get some pictures of what he has done to the inside.
Personally, I have no interest in launching my car into orbit. I would say that the walls need to be done for the first race. If they are not and there is some bad experiences, "we will fix it next time" is not going to help a wrecked car.
Tim Mc 08-29-2008, 09:49 PM That track looks awesome. I agree about the rumble strips... gotta do something about them. An inside wall? That's a little on the scary side too. I'm not sure what the solution would be?
That area over there has many racers that once frequented the Bowl. If they find out a track is operating R/C oval again, I'm sure they'll come to race.
Preston 09-03-2008, 08:43 PM I Lanier just above Valdosta, GA. Will you run 1/10 cars?
Preston its up closer to Atlanta.
Fl Flash 09-03-2008, 09:07 PM I Lanier just above Valdosta, GA. Will you run 1/10 cars?
I wish it was just north of Valdosta, but Lanier Ga. is about 20-30 miles north of Atlanta.
ScottH 09-03-2008, 10:30 PM John -- any pics of the track yet?
spdway rcr 03 09-03-2008, 11:21 PM we will have some the track by this weekend and a date for the first race by middle of next week
ScottH 09-03-2008, 11:38 PM Cool!!
Echeconnee 09-04-2008, 07:18 AM I vote no bumps and/or an inside wall
tmckinney 09-06-2008, 08:05 PM Can't wait to come down and run....
