Im Getting a 1/8 buggy and truggy and i want to order the servos at the same to time to save money on shipping. Im ordering my products from www.amainhobbies.com and i was about to pick a set of servos but i have no idea on a servo choice. i have no money range but looking for a good price for a good servo. I was looking at the ace servo #Ace R/C DS1313 Super Torque Digital Servo to run steering and throttle for both cars. But ive heard from some people at medina rc raceway that hitec makes good servos with a good warranty. But from hitec i have no idea what to choose. If you need info to help choose im going to run a spektrum dx3.0 with a axial .28rr and protek 7.4 200mah lipo and protek servo regulator to make it 6 volts.

If possible go to the servo manufacturers' website and see what they list each servo for. Things to look at are what the useage is for, requirements (some digital servo require a digital receiver), transit time, torque (higher for weight/size), size etc. A majority of manufacturers have switch to a standard plug configuration so in most cases you might not need a plug conversion kit.
