Can anyone point me toward any episodes of Voyage that show the wall mounted control panels on either side of the front viewports? I've fast forwarded eight or ten episodes and haven't spotted them yet. Thanks!

Ductapeforever 08-26-2008, 09:42 PM Starseeker Look at the Lunar models pics of the studio scale interior kit, accurized and clear pics...if they are not still up on the web, send me a PM with your e-mail and I'll send them to you. starseeker2 08-26-2008, 11:49 PM Got them! Great idea - thanks very much! azdacuda 08-26-2008, 11:58 PM Not sure accurate this is its from the NIMR Tech Manual blueprints by Frederick Barr Gary K 08-27-2008, 12:25 AM Can anyone point me toward any episodes of Voyage that show the wall mounted control panels on either side of the front viewports? I've fast forwarded eight or ten episodes and haven't spotted them yet. Thanks! Check out The Fossil Men, The Silent Saboteurs, The Day the World Ended, and Deadly Waters. The Silent Saboteurs has a good view of the seldom-seen port control panel, along with a pre-Sulu George Takei. Gary starseeker2 08-27-2008, 12:38 AM Thanks! Saboteurs has great shots of every part of the interior of the FS except for the under viewport controls and the the reactor, which are the only part of the FS seen in just about every other episode. This episode is stunningly clear on DVD - the wires on the airborne FS are perfectly clear. Found a most unexpected (and sad) photo of the FS interior set. Check this out: http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicles/ApesShip/Personal/flyingsub02.jpg Azdacuda, compared with the scenes in Saboteur, Fred Barr's schematics look pretty good. Thanks. gareee 08-27-2008, 08:28 AM azdacuda, those image links are busted.. any way you could upload them elsewhere and post them full sized? azdacuda 08-27-2008, 02:02 PM The link seems to be fine, but I put a link on my website to download a full size version http://michaelstrong.com/flyingSub.html gareee 08-27-2008, 02:34 PM Al I get are red "x"s... even on your webpage... Edit: I right click saved them locally... individually they won't load, but I loaded them into photoshop. I had to make them rgb images, and then toss a full black into the layer below them in order to make them viewable. azdacuda 08-27-2008, 03:22 PM Weird, must be a Mac vs PC thing, it loads and looks fin on my Mac, I'll go back and look at them again ............ gareee 08-27-2008, 03:28 PM I think the gif was probably saved with transparency.. all the non black parts were there, but there was no black in them at all... and photoshop should load them the same in both pc and mac versions. gaetan 08-27-2008, 04:04 PM Sorry, but when I enlarge the tumbnail I also only get the red X Gaétan Edit. I just followed the link to your site . I downloaded the white boxes whit the x in my documents . When I opened it ; abracadabra , I could see the drawings... ;-) Michael, the nature photos on your website are awesome.... very interesting..... Thank you , Gaétan gareee 08-27-2008, 04:08 PM right click save them locally, open them in photoshop, make them rgb format, and then put a black layer below the one loaded, and save as png (lossless) or jpg (lossy) azdacuda 08-27-2008, 04:20 PM Should be fine, check them again starseeker2 08-27-2008, 06:15 PM They load fine on my PC. Paulbo 08-27-2008, 07:16 PM Still come up broken image links for me ... but I downloaded the target images and opened them in PhotoPaint - no sweat. Converted to 24bit, saved as CPTs. Perhaps there's a size issue with some browsers? The images are pretty durned large - 8800 x 2700 (roughly) for one image. Even though they're 8bit, they're really only storing B/W info - they could be converted to 24bit and resampled and still retain all of the information at a much smaller physical size, though they'd likely take up more disk space. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
