In case any of you have not heard there is a web site called Hulu.com. You can go there and watch old (and new) shows such as Lost in Space free of charge with limited commercial interuption on your PC, it's great. I watched 60 episodes of this...show...because I have the PL Jupiter II and now the Space Pod and next the Cheriot. After the Moebius SP came out I realized none of the 60 episodes I watched had the SP, well I checked back and they have added 14 episodes of Season 3. So far I have watched EP 1-5 and there are exterior/interior veiws-o-plenty! I think it was EP 3, Kidnapped in Space, when Dr. Idiot and B9 exit the pod, there is an excilent shot of the rear hatch hinges that show just how off the kit is, but easy to fix. Too there are a good many interior shots Port and Starboard. One of the early season 3 episodes also show a real good view of the console seats of the Jupiter II (very good veiw) should you want to scratch them to make them more accurate. You will also see real good close ups of the starboard lower quad. of the front...aw heck, just got to Hulu.com and you can see some real good stuff. This is great for us who don't the DVD's. Oh yeah, Season 3 Ep. 4 has a great shot of the seldom seen starbord interior wall.

One last thing, what orange are you guys using for the exterior of the SP because some of them seem to be right on.

Some good modeling going on out there!

The episode "Space Primevals" from season 3 has some GREAT Space Pod exterior views. There is one scene where the full sized pod is lowered on a crane out on location . On the downside ---- its a pretty bad episode. But there are some excellent shots of the pod and chariot

Testors Competition Orange, (1628), is a great orange shade to use on the Pod & Chariot. I used it on mine, and since it is a gloss, I sealed it with Dullcote to tone it down. Just in case anyone is looking for a good color orange to use.

For the Pod hull panels, I used Metalizer Aluminum Plate, and sealed it with metalizer sealer, then finished it also with Dullcote. I did not "buff" the metalizer paint to a gloss as directed, since sealing it gives it a more "aluminum" look. I used this method on my Enterprise NX-01, and loved the results.

Sincerely,
Scorp.

And hulu.com only streams episodes and movies if you're in the U.S. :(

I'll have to find a good orange for my Pod. Thanks for the hints!
