R/C Madness in Enfield CT, will be hosting an oval race on September 6th. I have talked to Chris (track owner) and he is currently putting together a flyer. The plan was to have the event outside but due to possible contruction of a new parking lot, he is having the event inside. Chris can be contacted at 860-741-6501 for information about classes. atleast the track is there for now...toooo many tracks closing down for one reason or another.

Day race, Chris has not posted the flyer (He's a busy man). I just spoke to him about the concensus of this thread to be 17.5 pan and s/k. Also Chris has Novak systems on order should be in this week.

I just spoke to him again about the question on motor make and he wants to pose that question on this thread. So lets take a poll.

Day Race. Start time 3pm, at least thats what he and I discussed on the phone about 2 hrs ago.
time to unleash the new RIP ride on carpet. Im in for 17.5 pan car. ( sk wont be touched.... Points race next day)

raider, chris has always been laid back as far as what motors,esc's that we can run.last season people were running esc's other than novak,lrp and i believe tekin.there are other 17.5 motors out there also. it depends on what everyone agrees on i guess.

Scott, Since this is Madness, better beat would be any 17.5 motor on the market can be run. Chris has always let over the counter items be run, If you can buy it you can run it. Maybe Dan can verifiy.

Chris is sticking with novak motors for now. His thoughts on the motor deal was this.... since this is what most racers in the area already had these motors. This was the motor allowed at major tracks in the area. MARSHALLS TO TURN 4 to MAXIMUS.
