I was wondering if a vintage rc10 gold pan or a rc10 dual sport would make a decent late model dirt oval race car and could it still compete in todays oval dirt class

it all depens on the rules for your track some tracks run 4wd touring cars as latemodels. If the track you run has 2wd latemodels then the old gold tub rc10 will do well the duel sprot would work to but they are hard to balance out so it handel well

We run a class --RC10 tubs--coupe and sedan body dirt oval cars.
Great fun :thumbsup: 27 turn motors, foam tires. It don't get any better, well maybe sprints but:lol::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have a graphite rc-10 chassis that I ran as a eastern dirt mod and a sprint car. I had pretty good luck with both in the handling dept but it took a while to get the thing to turn on exit.(rc 10s have no nose weight) Im pretty sure that would be your problem with a tub chassis. I had to run it loose on entry and thru the center to get a good exit.

even waaayyy back when an RC10 was THE CAR...you could buy conversion chassis for dirt oval...Im sure if you search around you will find an LTO chassis for an rc10...Composite craft made them for a ling time along with many others...
