Well we are covering the Layout with heavy plastic in case we get some leaks during the Hurricane, and moving the computer, monitor, cars, and everything we can into the central part of the house. I just hope I still have a Florida room after it is over.
I hope everyone else who is in the path of Fay is taking precautions to stay safe.

Tom,
Good luck, hang in there brother! My father-in-law lives in a trailer in Cocoa and my wife is visiting her brother in a trailer in Monticello. Needless to say I'm keeping an eye on things. Last time my wife visited family Dennis came through and left them w/o power for three days.

Canceled my trip to Jax this week..... and hoping Fay dies a not-so-slow painless death. Wind is one thing, 2+ feet of rain with wind is another thing entirely. Stuff gets wet and the water finds a way in.... I can relate to Ivan, Dennis, learned to tape my door seals up so it wouldn't blow through when gusting. Fay is heading my way, and hoping she takes the overland route.
You took all the precautions, hope all comes through without a scratch or a damp spot!

Hope all is well. I saw this thread and thought it was misspelled "fray". I heard on the news this moring Fay was turning to hit the coast AGAIN, for the FOURTH time!
