This is a still from the TV series Thunderbirds made by Gerry Anderson 1964-66, and comes from the episode about the first flight of the Fireflash plane. All of the cars and trucks (some repainted) are Lesneys

Starting on the left, the Cooper-Jarret double, the rare two-tone Commer pick-up, a Hillman Minx, the bronze Vauxhall Cresta, a Jaguar, the M series BP tanker, a repainted 1961 Ford police and another Copper Jarret. How did I do??
I am old enogh to have had all of these as a kid.

This is a fun excercise :)

From left to right: M9a Copper-Jarret - 50A Commer pickup - 7B Ford Anglia (barely visible) - 43A Hillman Minx - 22B Vauxhall Cresta - M1 Tanker - 32B Jaguar E-type - another M1 Tanker - 30A Ford Prefect? - Dumptruck lurking in the shadows? not a Matchbox! - 59B Ford Failane Fire Chief - 55B Ford Fairlane Policecar - 59B Ford Failane Fire Chief repainted to a policecar (a little tricky, but the white domelight tells the story!) - another 59B barely visible! - last models is two M9s

Now I have to rest my old eyes

Uncle Tomica did good recognising so many but Karle E´s nailed them all bar one, although i am not 100% sure about the Ford Prefect to the right of the BP tanker, it could also be a grey 22 Cresta. The caramel coloured truck may well be a customised Lesney Major Pack. The reversed angle of the Anglia rear window is visible behind the Hillman Minx for those with sharp eyes....
I will try to find this episode to watch again and really checkout the models
This show was commissoned by the ABC TV company, and their biggest rivals were the still dominant BBC, so putting ABBC on the side of the Cooper Jarrets is an interesting choice...

Here are a couple more screen shots of the same scene with a 28 Jaguar Mk10 clearly visible, and better angle on the Anglia. It turns out that this was the pilot episode for the show, shot for a 30 minute slot and so impressed Lord Grade that this was extended to fill a 1 hour slot with commercial breaks as provided for all subsequent series. And these Lesneys are visible in the credits for all episodes of Thunderbirds for the sharp eyed!
