I recently got this Fiat Powerboat set.
When I was young I was a big fan of the Fiat X1/9, and as I love "everything racing" this is a perfect set for me
Thanks to my good buddy SMS88 who "threw" the blue version my way, I now have two versions of the dreamcar of my youth ;)
However, still at least two more versions of this lovely car to be found: Green/black roof and silver/black roof :o

very nicely made castings, its just a shame the 1/36 SCALE is too large to fit my collection, although i have bent the rules to have a Mercedes 240D, Lotus Elite and Capri MkIII in my home....
In real life this rather small car would have been everybit as uncomfortable for a tall guy like Karl-E as an MG Midget, remember it was made for italians:) another popular small car, the original Morris Mini Cooper was designed by a very tall guy Alec Issigonis so its no problem for any 6 feet tall drivers to fit behind the wheel

A lot of collectors don't like the 1:36 scale, but I collect the F1 cars and there are a few more of this scale that I would love to add to my collection; the Buick (the "Metropolis-policecar" and the Kojak version), the 007 Lotus Esprit, the last version of the 007 Aston Martin and one of the Jaguar XJS - a beautyfull car that is so often overlooked + a few others.
The X1/9 might not be comfortable for a guy my size  but I'll bet you that I could squeeze myself in, if I got the opportunity ;) The smallest car I has ever driven was a friends vintage Austin Healy (the one that came after the "frogeye") it's possible! but very hard to look cool with your knees around your ears
