These were the ROAR RMT Officials for the 2008 ROAR Paved Oval Nats and they did a Superb job. Assisting anywhere that was needed, knewing or getting answers for the questions asked throughout the week-end, Assisting in Tech on all cars raced and expressing extreme interest in the oval racing and people and are very pleasant to talk to even while they were busy performing the duties of RMT.
I sincerely believe that these two individuals helped make the event a success, as well as Donnie Burnett's facilities and are a great asset to ROAR and Oval Racing, Proved by just being here, at the Oval Nationals.

Again, Thank You Both for your participation, assistance and friendliness.

Ditto what POD stated. They came to "HELP" not "HINDER" and didnt try to reinvent the wheel, Sam and Mike are truly a class act and a definate asset to the Oval racing world.

Thank You Mike and Sam for your help and your compliments about the facilities and how the show is ran. Like i told Donnie, it was a huge confidence and morale booster to have someone of your caliber in the rc world tell me that my ability to run a show was on par with his guys that run the biggest rc car race in the world! Thank You

I also want to thank each and every racer that spent hard earned money, a lot of time and effort to participate in this event after all of the negativity leading up to the race....No doubt in my mind that the 88 racers that were in attendance are truly "RACERS" and are not worried about their pride and ego, they checked their radios into the impound and raced like it was a non issue!

Thanks for the compliments guys. It was a pleaseure working with Carolina RC Club. We did not want to stand out as a authority, we wanted to blend in,They made us feel welcome and treated us like family. I will miss you all of you. Thank You for making me feel at home.

I thought it was great having an offical on the driver stand during the qualifiers/mains. They had perfect ability to see/hear things. Great idea.

Hello racers. Thank YOU so much for the kind words. We had a blast with everyone and believe the race went very well. The facility and staff are top notch and we as a RC racing community are very lucky to have them. I hope to have pics and videos up in a couple days. Stay tuned!

Just want to say thanks for a tremendous job that Sam Ledford and Mike Boylan did representing the ROAR RMT. I spent some time talking with both Sam and Mike, and they are stand up guys. Thanks a million, guys,.......without you, the 2008 ROAR Paved Oval Nats would not have been such a success. Thanks to Jim Duffie again for another superb job at the mic, keeping all of us racers up to date on what is going on and keeping us informed on the cars on the track. Donnie Burnett and staff......what else can be said about you and your fantastic crew? Another outstanding job...its always a pleasure racing at your facility........I always enjoy my trips there. Great job all of you!!!
