Well It Looks Like Here In Florida As Of October 1st We Can Run What Ever Speedo We Want In Every Class Including 21.5 Lipo I Currently Have A Novak And I Love It But It Has No Lipo Cutoff So I Am Going To Have To Buy A New One Any Ways So I Was Looking At The Tekin Rs Pro But The Someone Mentioned Just The Rs. They Said For The 21.5 Class It Wont Make That Much Of A Difference. So What I Need To Know Is What Is The Differences Between The Two..i Would Also Like To Find Out What Other Speedo's People Have Been Using Other Than The Lrp And Novak And What Do You Think Of Others That You Have Used......

You can buy an add on LiPO cutoff for twenty or thirty dollars or just not run your pack until it dumps (8+ minutes with a 21.5).

The Pro has slightly lower resistance so can run lower turn motors (no limit). The Pro is larger. That is the only difference.

Stop with the caps.

There's virtually no current flowing through the LiPO cutoff which results in virtually no power loss. 1/2 ounce doesn't matter either. Anyway it's your 200, I was just presenting the fact that a new speedo is unnecessary for LiPO.

pmsimkins....the guy ask for a question(rs vs rspro)...and you go around and respond with somethin that has nothing to do with the original ?...

doughboy...after talking with JIM...he told me RS could handle everything out there...even mod motors...but to keep it safe...they advertise as RS limits to 5.5....both units are having the same tunability..but like Hankster said...the RS PRO has a second board soldered in parrallel...thats makes it more efficient..and stronger....if i'd be you...i would go with the RS...it has the same footprint as the RsPRO...but is slightly lower in height...and lighter...you can not go wrong with this unit...

I Wasn't Doubting You I Had Just Really Started Looking At It After I Had Talked To You And Didn't Relly See Any Differences Other Than What The Lowest Turn Motor Was That Could Run The Rs Being A 5.5 And Lets Face It You Have Seen Me Drive I Am Not Going To Be Putting A 5.5 Motor In My Car Anytime Soon If Ever... Thanks For All The Good Advice Eric AND FOCKER...

The "Original" was referring to Lipo cutoff and Pat was just trying to save the guy $200 for something that really isn't necessary. But...If you got the money... Go for it! http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon2.gif

I've been running the RS pro for a couple months on Dirt oval. Love it, its nice to be able to adjust the torque control. so far running the orange 13.5. I have the Red line 13.5 on the way.

1m Have You Used Any Other B/l Speedo. How Would You Say That This Tekin Stands Up Against Other B/l Speedo's

Doughboy I have run Novak GTB, 4 cell GTB, LRP sphere 07, Speedpassion, and the Tekin Rs and RS pro IMO they were all close but I like the Tekin. I am not saying it because I am sponsored by them. Infact in order for me to get a sponsor I must like and believe in there product. Which I do with tekin

also another great thing about the RS series is the hotwire function. not only does it make adjusting things in the speedo a snap but it allows for Team Tekin to test different versions of software and constantly gather info to make the speedo better. Basically if you have the hotwire it allows you to download a new version software.

Definitely better than buying the latest speedo 6-8 months to a year later to keep-up w/ the Joneses!
