Have 6.5 hp B&S model 125K02 - 0500 -E1 recently found the SPRING-AIR VANE off the machine I can see( I think where it connects to the vane) but do dot know where the other end hooks to. Is any diagrams or can anyone explain where the other end connects
Thanks!

Their should be a rod with a loop in it that connects between the butterfly on the carb and the govenor air vain itself. The spring connects to that loop in the rod and goes to the throttle controll

A 125K02 is a Quantum Briggs engine and has an internal governor. If yours has an air vane it's for an auto choke setup. I can't recall where the spring hooks, but I think it may be somewhere near the coil, the spring should put tension on the vane to return the choke to a closed position when the engine is not running and no air is blowing against the air vane. There is also a temperature compensating setup for the air vane over near the exhaust.
