hi everyone, i want to start racing lipo pan car but dont know if i need another charger. i have a much more ctx and it says it charges lipo but will it charge the lipo's i would use in my pan car? also is it good for it? does it charge high enough to be worth it or is it junk? lol

If it will charge at 6 amps in Lipo mode then you should be fine but you might want a balancer that you can get to plug in-line before your battery.

i think the ctx will not charge a lipo 2c or 3c at more than 1 amp...not gonna cut it..

they may have a new charger out for lipo though?

yep 1 amp only,used for lipo receiver pack

ahh thats a bummer. i was hoping it would work out that i didnt have to get a new charger. back to the old drawing board i guess. anyone selling a USABLE lipo charger at a good price? lol i ask for so much these days :)

guys are charging from 6-10 amps

bought alot of " much less" stuff, that charger has been put on the shelf with a bunch of other stuff I don't use anymore:cry:

to bad that this charger will be just a paper weight for lipo racing. shame

looking for a charger a bit smaller. but that might be the best solution. i did get rid of my gfx though so ill have to look for a good deal online first. i was wondering if the much more was upgradable for lipo's?
