i have a die cast metal shining time station from ertl. its never been opened and ive had it since i was 5. on the back of the box it says Britt Allcroft (thomas) limited 1996
out of curiosity i was wondering how much is this worth if it has never been opened?
i have many other thomas the train engine and friends but i only have one thats has never been opened.
i thank you for reading this and would highly aperciate it if you can tell me how much its worth.
p.s. the name on the box says RHENEAS and the back of it comes with a collector card #48

Your best bet for real time value would be to check out the listings on ebay. I'm going to bet that it isn't worth a whole lot. Then again, if you hit the right day....
That is where I would start though.

The right place at the right time ...Thomas train items a lot are yard sale things today no value . The odd thing is collectable .
Take a look at this link on youtube and a few others there . Maybe you could get in touch with someone who collects that kind of thing

it is from the original 50, before the packaging was changed....would probably fetch around $5-10 on a normal day, maybe even upwards of $15-20 by a fluke on e-bay because stranger things have been known to happen on that auction site....
